The beautiful heritage prints featured in this Patch collection were designed by indigenous artists still engaged in agrarian lifestyles. Their art stems from use of natural materials and generations of traditions. Bogs is proud to partner with Roots Studio, whose mission is to preserve these endangered art forms by digitizing and sharing them with the world, providing a crucial and sustainable source of income for the artists and their villages.

This design comes from a block print in Gujarat, India. Block prints feature designs hand carved out of wooden blocks, traditionally inked onto fabric with vegetable dyes. But with increased digital methods, block printing has become a limited practice.
